Hey guys,
It's been four years since the days we frequented this site. Even now I can recall everyone I used to play Runescape with. The ones who've long gone, and the ones who stuck with the game despite all the changes.
Now we've all moved forward. Some of you have gone on to do great stuff with your lives and grown out of playing Runescape. Some of you still play and still working on doing great stuff with your lives. Some of you have gone altogether.
Now, I realize many people don't bother even looking at this site anymore. But this message will be here if you happen to come back to have a look.
When I first joined Mates Not Levels, I was an incredibly emotional teenager, given to being dramatic and causing some problems, and constantly putting myself out there to help people with their drama rather than sort myself out. But this clan still took me in.
Now, at twenty one, I'm the clan leader and I'm struck by how much we've all changed. We've grown up together, and I've watched each and every one of you grow as individuals. And I'm struck by how sad I am that those days had to end. I'm thankful some of you are still in my life, whether it's still with Runescape, or even catching up in emails or Facebook.
I wanted you all to know that I love you all very much, and I'm glad I got to know you all. Even as I write this, we still have new people joining, so the clan isn't the same as it was back then. But it has the potential to be the kind of clan they'll be glad to grow up with, as it was with us.
If you are no longer with us, thank you for being part of it. If you are still with us, thank you for staying to share these memories with me, and I hope we can make many more as awesome as the ones we have already.
All my love,
Dani
